Have a 67 starcraft jupiter i'm restoring. Does anyone know where the engine serial number is? It's a merc inboard outboard 120. Please help

Should be attached to the block near the back

Ayuh,.... IF it's still there, it's on a tag riveted to the block, just ahead of the starter...

Thanks for the replies!!! I have looked everywhere but no tag. I have the serial of the outboard thats still intact. No tag on the inboard. Any other ideas on where to get it.

Ok got another question, do i need to pull the motor to get the power tilt
motor out. Put a new selinoid in today but turn the key and it just clicks. Same thing the old one did. I think it may be the pump. Its a merc inboard outboard 120horse.

I couldn't tell you. But you would be better off starting a new thread with a new question. Right now, it says 'mercruiser' and about finding the SN. Unless people read all the threads and find your trim pump question, it could get lost when someone rplies. Like I have now.
If you go up to the Adults Only sticky at the top of this forum, you can download the OEM service manual for your engine and drive. Manual #1 is what you want. I may have the info you need in it.
