I have twin installation 165 mercruisers both running ATF fluid in the trim tilt pumps I am having difficulty in trimming one leg in completely it trims up ok but trims back in about half way before stopping, I have to date pulled both hyd rams apart they look ok / I have pulled apart and cleaned the pump and replaced the oil / I have pulled the rams off the pins at one end and they extend out ok but do not retract I have tried to bleed the system at each connection and get good shows of oil both up and down. Would changing the oil to a heavier viscosity be the next move? Can anyone shine some light may way.<br />Cheers karl<br /><br />(BOAT -break out another thousand)
