I just bought a 2019 stingray 198lx with a mercruiser 4.5 200 hp motor. I noticed on my first drive that the engine temperature gauge does not register a temperature. Question is where is the location of the sensor. It is only a $75 part however i cannot locate the sensor, it looks like it might be hidden under the fuel pump and fuel lines near thermostat housing. Also is it possible it could be the gauge instead? Any help would be great. Thanks
