I have an 89 larson with a 305lx with alpha drive the boat has been running hotter than it usually does. It is running about 180. It is a raw water system. the line blew coming from the drive to the engine and overheated. Since it was running hot before and I had to check everything I changed my exhaust manifolds , risers ,flapper valves , removed drive and checked water pump and cleaned out bits and peices of melted flapper valves. Also my engine circulating pump was changed at the begining of last season. Now when i run the risers are cold but the engine still seems to be a little hot . I dont know if the temp is on the high end of the operating range but it makes me uncomfortable. Also new thermostat beggining of this season 160. Any help please out of ideas
