Mercruiser remote control box replacement on Islander.

I have a 1986 Islander with a fully rebuilt 3 liter mercruiser..(2021) For years I used a quicksilver commander 2000 (side control for outboards) but I feel that it is time to replace it as it is getting real cranky and worn out. I would like to put in a remote box with tilt and trim that has the box behind the paneling and just the handle and a cover plate visible. What box should I pick?

I think the 4000 is current. I'd go with the 4000.
