Mercruiser option code

Hi all, I just bought a 1984 Century Resorter with a Merc. 260 inboard. On the valve cover is a "Mercruiser Option Code" plate. I can't find out anything about it, or what options it covers or how to decipher it. I'll try to add a pic. Thanks all

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,....... I have no idea what the option code is,......

The 260 I/O of that vintage is a 350 Chevy, with a Quadra-Jet carb though,.....
