i rfecently bought a boat and it had the alpha drive out i tried to put it in but it goes almost all yjr way but stops 2 inches short of sealing so i forced it in and now it is stuck wont go in or outany ideas

Welcome but NEVER force anything on anywhere!! 1st question,where was your gear shifter ???? Meaning were you in fwd,neutral or rev when attempting to do this??? Lets start there and if you reply you will get more assistance.Charlie

Could have been you didn't have your shifter and drive's shift shoe in the right position when you tried putting together.

Could be the engine needed aligning before stabbing the drive.

What engine? (Year and model please. Serial number if you have it)
