Mercruiser intake manifold exchange

Will an exhaust manifold for 1989 OMC 3.0 L exchange with a Mercruiser 3.0 manifold? Both use Chevy engines so I would expect them to be close. I have been wrong before and I am sure that you guys will get me straight quick. If interchange would require minor modifications for attachment to elbow I could handle it. I can get a Mercruiser manifold in trade for a lower unit housing from my old merc outboard that locked up.

I need a OMC manifold. I can get a Mercruiser manifold in trade. Just for grins, I have not looked at a Mercrusier manifold, why will it not work if the block is the same? Is it because of mating on outlet riser?

OH!! well then , yes the ex.elbow just isn't close enough to line up with the ex. pipe . sorry.

Another question, (my husband is one cheap *&#@*!)but he brought this toy for me and maintains it to the best of his ability, and has 2 count'em 2 daughters in nursing school. Can outlet be matched up with flex hose ?

sorry ,probably not ,the omc carb won't fit the merc man. and the omc throttle cable won't fit the merc carb if the carb comes with the merc man. have you priced osco motors for a replacement man. they are out of souderton pa.they are a mfgr. of after mkt. ex. manifolds for the marine industry .they usually have ads.in boat mags. or you might find them online,but i don't have an adress for them.
