Mercruiser hydraulic lines

I need to change my hydraulic hoses from the pump to the stern drive. The gray hose rubber is rotting and exposing the white branded material. I do not have a repair manual for a 1984 mercruiser 4 cylinder inboard/outboard with mercruiser outdrive and need some advice.

The manual is of no help in replacing the hoses, but this should help you understand how to do the job.

Trim pump information is covered in the drive manual, not the engine manual.

I'm not sure what sort of advise you're looking for. I can suggest this though.
1. remove old trim hose.
2. fit new trim hose.
