Mercruiser Head Gasket Orientation

I am replacing the heads on my 2000 Mercruiser 5.7 EFI. I have the OEM Quicksilver head gaskets (#27-75611001), however there are no obvious markings indicating which side of the gasket goes up. One side has slightly raised sealing surface outlines, and some imprinted text, the other is smoother and has the word "Marine" ink stamped several times. Also the holes for the dowel pins are different, one is circular and one is triangular.

look at the gasket, the side with the "rings" on each cylinder are up, the siamesed pattern goes on the block

The ones I have do not look like the pictures. As they were packaged the top side is the one with the imprinted AC7 20. This side also has the raised areas around the sealing surfaces.
