Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,....... It seems to be runnin' outa gas,.....

I'd start by pullin' the fuel filter, 'n examinin' the contents of it in a clear container,.... a freezer baggie is my choice,....
Crack the filter loose, slip the baggie 'round it, spin it off, droppin' into the baggie, seal it up, 'n flip the filter over,....
If ya see anything at all that ain't clean fresh gasoline, ya found yer problem,....

assume they pressure tested

This is a Diy site, 'n We Never, Ever assume anything,.... (We do have to make Alotta guesses though)
That's why We ask questions,..... ;)

will do ... appreciate the prompt reply. I'm not a mechanic, (duh), ; but did have the fuel pump replaced. When running the boat yesterday, we smelled ALOT of gas ... I'm thinking a cracked fuel line between the tank separator and carb. Event checking the engine compartment today, smells of gas. Need to remove some things to get a better look!

That sounds a lot like a "lean loop". That would be caused by a fairly large vacuum leak under or in the carb, or a fitting on the intake manifold not plugged correctly. Just some old school hotrod spitballin' here.

What work was done recently? Any modifications, or is the engine stock as it came?
