My buddy was in a car accident and is bed bound for months. I went by and put his 2002 24' Bayliner, 5.7 L, 250 HP, Bravo 3, cruiser in the water (it is rack stored) today to run it for him. Everything was fine, batteries full up and it ran OK except the trim/tilt switch does nothing up or down. Checked the fuse at the trim pump and it is good. Did not have a VOM with me so I couldn't see if there was power at the pump. Boat was not run for one month and trim/tilt was working fine the last time out. I am thinking there may be a harness problem or a wire off the switch at the shift lever. There is only the one trim tilt switch on this boat in the shift handle, no separate trailer switch.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Re: Mercruiser B3 No Trim/Tilt

Thanks for the link, I will check it out and see if I can get back to the boat in the next week or so to work on it!
