Mercruiser Alpha 1 gen 1 Trailer Button on outboard

Purchased my 98 stingray 180 RX from a guy about 2 years ago. He took me on the boat out in the lake, ran around and i decided hey ill take it. This was and still is my first boat. Long story after driving the boat on the trailer, he got outside the boat walked behind the boat and reached under outdrive and raised it for trailering. 2 years later for the life of me i cannot find the trailer button he depressed to raise the outdrive. As I mentioned, it wasnt the trailer button on the throttle it was somewhere on the outdrive.

There can be a stern mounted drive up switch mounted usually it’s on the side of the hull by where the swim platform is if it has a non factory swim platform it might be under it
