Mercruiser 5.7 Spark Plug Glap

Howdy fellas! Havent been on here in quite a while. I am in the process of wrapping up my move to New Orleans and have my manuals packed away still. I need some help, can some one tell me what the Plug gap is on a 1990 5.7, I am pretty sure it is .035, but just need a verification. Thanks in advance for the help!<br /><br />ooh yeah if you dont like the heat, dont move to New Orleans!!! Its hotter than hell down here!<br /><br />Tallman

Its 0.035 for my 88 5.7 so I suspect your memory is still working OK, even in the heat!!

Tallman,is it hot or what?.35 for prevortec 5.7L engines for sure,later engines I think are .45.
