Mercruiser 5.7 engine questions

Hey, Oh Great Wise ones....

I have a question regarding the carb on my 5.7 Merc. My engine S/N is 5931278. The brass tag on the carb says Mercruiser MCM 260 1347 7362

The only thing I see written on the carb is Made In the USA and Rochester Quadrajet.

I am wondering what the model number for my carb is. I would like to order a rebuild kit for it. The engine fires and runs for a few seconds with fuel poured down the barrels, but I have no idea how long it has been sitting, so I would like to rebuild the carb so that I can get it running.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

On most these sites they have a search function and enter"1347 7362" and it will find the kit you need

The 1347 7362 is your model number and can also find replacement carb using the number
