HEy i have a 1996 bayliner capri 2050ss with a 5.0L I/O alpha one. I just got the boat and when i took it out for the first time the lake was really calm and everything ran great. The next day i took the boat out and the lake was a little choppy and i opened the boat up WOT and it ran good for about 15 minutes and then all of a sudden it just shut off. It didnt spit and sputter before it died it just died. like i just turned the key off. I would go to start it back up and it wouldnt start. i would have to wait 5 minutes and it started right back up ran fine. I had to limp it back to the dock only going around 1000 rpm and it ran good. give it some more gas and it would die after 5 minutes. Thinking it was gas with water in it i put some sea foam in the tank and it ran a little better but it still did the same thing. I was just wondering if anyone had anything like this happen to them and if so what was the problem. Im desperate. Thanks.
