I have a 1997 Sea Ray Sundancer 240 with a Mercruiser and cannot get above 800 rpms without the drive disengaging. It has run fine for two weeks (purchased June 2nd) and then this week this problem came on. I have been towed in once and now have the boat at the local dealer.<br />It runs at idle speed and then when I power up the gear jumps back to neutrel and the RPM's continue to increase.<br />Any ideas?
