mercruiser 4.3 flywheel

I am converting my 1986 4.3 2 piece crank seal to a 1989 1 piece (block was cracked and I purchased newer motor) I now need a 14" flywheel with a 3" bolt pattern but I am only finding them for the 5.0 v8. I think these are the same but am wondering if anyone knows for sure.
Also are ther other parts that wont interchang that I should be aware of?

Yes the small block V8 will interchange with the 4.3.

The flywheel part numbers are different for the V6 and V8 from Merc.
4.3 is 222-9518
5.0 & 5.7 is 222-9520

You can Go Here and cross reference part numbers of interchangeable parts.

The 4.3l uses a Very Differently Balanced Flywheel..........
