Got my new motor & Edelbrock carb all setup & working. There is a vacuum advance port on the carb, and I believe it's for an automotive distributor.

What should I do with this port? Cap it? I circled it in the picture.

Does your fuel pump have a small hose coming off of it? That might be where it goes.

No, I have a Carter electric fuel pump. It just has inlet/outlet for fuel.

Your picture is a bit small, but here is a 1409 carb, the arrow shows the fitting that the overflow clear hose from a mechanical fuel pump would attach to. With an electric pump, that is normally just capped of with a rubber cap.
