Have an '86 305 Mercruiser that ran all summer and then was hard starting and then finally died and now it just cranks. Have spark, fuel, replaced plugs, cap, rotor, coil, pickup sensor, coil wire and resistor between last year and now. Ran fine until now. Just rebuilt the carb and it is a merc carb 2 bbl. Does anyone have the specs air screw, float, etc. Came with wrong carburetor instructions and manual says see instructions. Any ideas!

Float level is 5/8". (Note: Measurment is taken from GASKET. Fuel inlet needle is spring loaded. Before checking, raise float and allow to fall by itself. DO NOT FORCE downward by hand.)<br />Float drop is 1- 3/4<br />Pump rod is 1-5/32<br />Choke setting is "Index marks aligned."<br />Choke unloader is .080<br />Idle mixture preliminary setting is 1-1/4 turns.<br />Float weight is 9 grams max.
