Finnally got the boat ready to go in the water after replacing the floor. We hooked up the battery (clean connections)and tried to turn it over. Nothing. Threw some switches and the blower and bilge worked. So I have power to the ignition switch. Went to the engine and looked at the solinoid. A little rust. Cleaned one side and on the other the engine did a jump (just heard the starter engage and a little turn) I must have had the ignition in the on position and jumped the solinoid. Now I get nothing. No bilge or blower. I looked at the fuses in the dash all good. Looked at the fuse on the starter where the positive battery line is hooked up to. Pulled it and used my DMM to check that it still was good. It was. Im stumped. where do I turn now. Did the solinoid fry? How do I test that? What else would it be?
