Thank you for looking this site has been so helpful in the past I have an 88 regal with a 3.7 that I can not get to start. It will turn over and is getting fuel. Im pretty sure it is not getting spark but I can not tell without someone to crank the engine for me. My dad is coming to help me tomorrow but im wondering what we should try when we realize there is no spark. the manual does not go into great detail about the electric layout between the external resistor and the coil. How many negative wires should be hooked up to the external resistor next to the distributor also is the # 1 spark wire face the front of the engine on the distributor, that is how I have it set. where is the coil, how do I test it? have a spark tester coming in the mail but not here yet. Thank you again
