I have a new boat that hasn't been on the water until last weekend. I had to give it some gas to get her started and keep it up around 800-900 rpm by giving it some gas. I let it warm up a bit (2-3 minutes) and then put it into neutral to put it into gear and it died. Only way I could get her to go was rev'ing it up 1500 and quickly moving it into N then into F.
Thought maybe I wasn't waiting long enough for the engine to warm up, it was about 130-140 on the Temp gauge. Ran it around for 30-45 minutes between 1000 - 2000 rpm and put it back into neutral. Died again. Tried starting it up again, and had to give it gas and play the game of giving it gas then quickly moving into gear to get it going.
Runs well when in gear, just can't stay idle without some gas, is their an easy idle adjustment to do? I'm a newbie to boats so I'm sure it's something stupid.
Thanks!

If it's something easy, I'd rather try something then give it back to the dealership to wait X weeks to get it back.
