Mercruiser 3.0 Not getting fire to distributer

I have a Mercruiser AlphaOne 3.0 litre/LX in my party barge.
SE# OK274852.
It was running at the end of the season. I started it one last time ran about 15 seconds, then I winterized it and put it in my shop.

Was going to take it out so Dewinterized it and got it all ready. Took it to the lake and it would not start. Could not find anything wrong so returned home to work on it.
It is not getting fire to the coil or distributer.

Any hints or suggestions?

Do you have 12 volts on the purple wire at the coil with the ignition key in the run position?
You did put your lanyard kill switch on didn't you?
