Mercruiser 3.0 Engine Replacement

I have a 2005 Tahoe q4 with a blown 3.0L Mercruiser I need to replace. Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the old motor and install a new one? I am a DYI kind of person but dont want to get in over my head.

yep...

you can do a quick search of the forums on engine removal - lots of threads about it - lots of good info and tips/tricks too

quick list:

-remove drive
-disconnect fuel, elecrical, water, exhaust, mounting bolts, power steering lines (if equipped), trim senders, gear lube monitor hose (if equipped), mercathode (if equipped), etc...
-find strudy chain and means of lifting engine
-remove engine from boat
-swap external components from old engine to new long block
-reinstall engine
