I have a heavily corroded front motor mount shaft and front motor mount on a 3.0 mercruiser . <br />Any tips on how to remove this mess from the bracket with out harming the bracket it is installed in.
I am just about to replace the front mount on my dad's boat with a 3.0 liter engine. If your's is anything like his... Good luck! (He boats exclusively in salt water and the front adjustment is totally rusted up).<br /><br />I ended up buying a mount from a fresh water engine off of ebay - didn't spend too much. You may take a look there.
