Mercruiser 3.0 140hp starter

Hello I need to buy a starter NAPA and the marine shop whant $230 this seems high to me. I did a search on google and found them for 50-100 plus shiping. I was wondering if the ones on-line will last as long?

I would like to upgade to a more powerfull one if there is one.

Chances are the online one is exactly the same as the $230 one!

I looked into these about a year ago and came to the conclusion that the online ones you find on Amazon or ebay are not as good as the more expensive real Mercruiser part. Cheap imitations, I think. I went with the more expensive one. You may be fine with that Amazon part, but I was afraid I wouldn't be satisfied. I hope someone hear can tell more about those aftermarket starters.

I did find an aftermarket one that is gear reduction high tq only pulls 1.5kw, made by a good compeny and is only $59.95 so thats the one im going for.
