Hi,<br />I have a 1985 Mercruiser 260 (v-8) in a Mark Twain 25 foot Cabin Cruiser. We just took it out for a run and the engine started fine but would stall as soon as we put it in reverse to back out of the launch. I tried it in forward gear and it was fine. I turned the prop by hand in forward and reverse gears and noticed that in reverse it would turn but every 1/4 turn there was some resisitance (in forward gear in spun freely with no resistance). Any suggestions? This is a newly purchased boat. Thanks!!!
