At the beginning of season, I had my gimbal bearing, bellows replaced, impeller/oil all done. It does stay in the water and never took on water other than what was brought in after getting out of the lake. I am taking the boat back to mechanic tomorrow, but curious where could water be coming in from since bellows are new? Its not a lot of water but pump does come on once a day or so......but it shouldn't be taking any so I want it fixed. I'm sure mechanic will fix, but I would like to know all ideas prior to his diagnosis. 1993 Mariah Talari 200, mercruiser 350

don't forget a 27 year old possibly rotten transom and nothing to do with the mechanic doing a bellow job.
