Mercruiser 190 Idle

Got a mercruiser 190 4 cylinder 224cid, carb was rebuilt last year, i'm having problems getting it to idle at 800 rpm it hunts cannot seem to get the idle lower and smooth turning in/out the idle air screws seem to make no difference timing is at 6btc at 800 rpms idles between 800-1000 rpm

Ayuh,... Sounds like it's picked up some Crud in the idle circuit in the last year....
Probably oughta look In the carb again...
