Mercruiser 188 Tilt limit wiring.

I installed a pair of motors, not original to this boat, but they are the same size and model that came out of it. Im stuck on where one wire gets connected to. Its from the tilt limit sender, My guess is If one of the wire connects to the forward post/screw the second wire goes to the rear screw/post to complete the circut?
