hi there,

I have just found out why our newly built 120 engine lost cylinder number three :-( There's a hole in behind the inlet valve into the water jacket! It's a long shot, but does anyone in the United Kingdom know where I can pick up a second hand cylinder head for a mercruiser 120 (2.5L) engine or a head from a chevvy 153ci engine?

It's not practical cost wise to ship one in from the US, so here's hoping there's one available in the UK :)

thanks

1962 thru 1970ish ChevyII or Nova used that engine, or one quite similar...and some 60's and early 70's Jeeps... some Jeep manufactured mailtrucks, petrol powered forklifts... some of that might be a candidate if you found a head off one of those.
