Mercruiser 1 outdrive bolt up to Alpha1 GenII gimble housing? 3.0L

OK, silly question here and I think I already know the answer (no)

Will a Mercruiser 1 outdrive bolt up and work on a Alpha1 GenII gimble housing? I have a recently rebuilt 1 drive and looking to put it on a boat with a 3.0L engine and blown Alpha1 GenII outdrive.

You could always sell that #1 and buy yourself a SE GEN II drive....
