Mercarb question

Re a 1994 3.0LX carburetor. I'm calling it a Mercarb rather than a Rochester because it has one mixture screw. Numbers on the Carb are 05924A-1 / 3 01. I recently rebuilt it using a Sierra Kit #18-7097 which replaces the 3302-9437. I am not 100% sure that this is the exact kit but it was close. Everything fit as it should except for the accelerator pump. The original pump has the bent shaft. The kit came with a straight and a bent version but the bent plunger was too small for the bore. I'm using it but it does not pump properly.

Suggestions on a replacement plunger?
