I got myself an aux engine for my boat, just wondering what year it is / starting procedure / any other info? <br /><br />The details are <br />Serial num 8032925 <br />4.5 HP <br />Thunderbolt ignition <br /><br />Other numbers from the block are <br />46171 <br />393-5697

Australian S/N's start with 8* <br />What does the cowling look like ?<br /> http://tinyurl.com/5ogx9 <br /><br />8056* is a 1980 year, I would say it's a 1976, Mercury 45. 1 cylinder

The value of that motor here in Melbourne (As long as the L/U is not fused to the crank) is $450 plus..<br />$45 is Grand larceny.
