Need some help just picked up a merc(frankenstien) motor i believe. The ser# A953140 that is on the swivel bracket.I was told that it is a stock 245hp Bridgeport engine 1986 but I believe that the powerhead may be different can't get to powerhead to read the welch plug stamp as of this evening. any help would be greatly appreciated! also is there a site I could go to to look up various ser#'s for year verification?
