Took me almost 3 months to knock out the tri lobe pin - finally got it out. Ordered a second hand Merc Trim and Tilt unit and wasn't able to even test it for 6 1/2 months. Finally got to do a test on it and it works but there is a problem. Just had it upright on the ground by the trailer and hooked up the jumper cables everything worked - tilt shaft moved up and down but noticed at the end the head where the tri lobe pin goes seems to be offset. Granted the base wasn't anchored and wonder if this was the problem. Any ideas as to what might have caused this or how to correct it would be appreciated.
