Have a pair of CR 150 mercs, 96 model carburated serial # 0G374411. Cannot find temperature rating of my thermostats in my Clymer manual. Does anyone know what the proper thermostat rating is for this motor?
Thanks<br />That's what I expected, just wanted confirmation. Although thermostat is open at 145, Does your book say how hot engines should run?? 145+20=165 max, I think my book does say 20 deg above thermostat rating???
