merc switchbox

Has anyone had a switchbox on an older merc cut out intermitantly? I have an inline merc with two boxes

Yep....Very common.<br />Time to replace it (95 percent of the time)when it does that; If grounds are good and clean.

yes, I had one cyl that didnt fire at idle...sometimes. Ran great otherwise. $205 and now I idle unnoticably smoother. But I basically have a spare switchbox to carry around.
