I did a pressure test today on my 1980s Mercruiser Sterndrive 3.0 A1G1, the upper and lower together , it's holding steady at 7 psi for 2 hours. Should I be concerned? When I did just the lower, it was amazing. The upper could be hurting I suppose

I pump the pressure up to 10psi initially and perform an inspection. After a few minutes holding at 10 I pump up to 15psi, perform another inspection.

Then wait ten minutes, perform another inspection and if pressure is stable I call it good

Should I be concerned at 7 psi after 2 hours? Hope not. I'm literally burned out, good thing I'm F...g retired. I aged 10 years in the last 3 months from this boat I got for free. 😂

Boats will do that, particularly if you are working on an older boat/motor.

On the OD pressure test, usually the concern is if the pressure does not hold . . . :D
