Merc serial again..

Hello!<br /><br />I have been trying to find information about the year model of my merc 50 (blue stripe, 4-cyl) but serial number doesn't match to sources, e.g. www.marinshopen.se. If the number is 938484x (the last digit marked with x is hard to read), what is the year. And oh yes, it is made in Belgium. Thanks!

50 9248006 - <br />1980/1981 2 cyl (80/81 = samma modellår)

So, the number of cylinders is incorrect in the production year list..

Honestly I dont have a clu why it says 2-cyl, as far as I know it should be 4-cyl, right?<br /><br />But it seems like they used the same prod. year (80/81) from 9248006 and up a bit. Check again at Marinshoppen, give them a call if in doubt.<br />+46 8 642 93 00
