Hello, looking to see if anyone can possibly help me out as I've scoured the internet and all boat mechanics in this area are all booked up. We have a 2006 Merc Pro Kicker 9.9 we were out trolling on the water and a continuous alarm sounded (over heat) . Stopped the trolling, more than a good stream coming from the water port. Motor did not feel hot at all. Went back to camp, checked oil (it's great) checked everything, seems all in working and good condition. Next day, go to turn the ignition only to accessory, it buzzes. We have brought it home and as soon as we turn the key to on it alarms. Got under the dash and found this unplugged? Don't know if it was ever plugged in. Picture #1 This is a new to us boat. Was told it was always serviced every year. There is no temperature sensor on this model. Any help would be appreciated.
