So, I bought a Stumpknocker boat with this engine on it. It would not make full turn stop to stop on the engine. I messed with the steering linkage some and even though the engine is centered on the transom, it would turn further starboard than port. Anyway while looking into this I discovered bolt that runs through the swivel pin to the motor is loose on the port side. This might be the cause of the steering issue. It appears to get to the top two bolts you have to remove the powerhead.. Anyone have any idea what this will cost to have replaced? I would do it myself but I will be down for at least a couple weeks due to slicing my hand open with a cutoff wheel yesterday. thanks
