Hi,can someone tell me what year Mercury changed the way they rated HP. I have a 1981 90hp inline 6. Is it really a 115 ?(compared to later models) Thanks for any help,Timb
In general, as far as I'm aware, well what Ive read anyway, hp measurements were measured at the flywheel up until 1984, 1985 onwards are measured at the prop shaft.
