Put grease on the alignment bar and push it into the coupler. There should be equal marks in the grease from the splines all the way around the A-Bar. If not look at the marks. The heaviest marks means it hitting the hardest on that side and the bottom will show lighter marks. Indicating the front of the engine needs to go down in order to get the marks equal.<br />Keeping the weight about equal keeps the marks from going port and starboard.<br />IF, you can't get it aligned, it may be because the rear rubber mounts are bad or the fiber washer and double lock washer are missing or bad.<br />You should also turn the engine 180° and make sure the alignment is still ok. If not, the coupler is probably bad, or a combination of bad coupler and bad rear mounts and...............<br /><br />Once you get this figgured out, let us know.
