Merc Comet Twin MK 6

Here is the info on the motor:<br /><br />Merc comet twin MK 6, super silent 6, Kiekhaefer Corp.,Serial no. 1130332.<br /><br />It's missing the lower end, I got it at a swap meet/flea market for $5. Most mark 6 engines died of lower unit problems parts have been NLA for many years. I had a couple hanging around for years looking for units and finally parted them out

Keep looking on eBay. There are always some for sale, possibly with a good lower unit. You'll have to buy a complete motor, but what the heck--spare parts!<br /><br />Jeff
