Merc "classic" 50hp ID

I've got what I think is a "classic" 1985-86 merc 50hp. Problem is I need parts and the serial matches nothing anywhere. It's a brown stripe serial A100960. Research seems to call it a classic 50hp or a 45hp. Its marked 50hp, 4cyl carb. I need a lower unit seal kit and nothing on mercs site matches up to it. All the serial number charts don't list anything starting with an "A"
