I seem to be having a gas pump circulation problem with my 90 4-stroke. If I run the engine a while then stop to troll with it the engine starts to knock. I noticed that whenever this happens the gas priming bulb is soft. This happens repeatedly throughout the day and even at idle.

Another thing I noticed lately is my RPMs dropping off with the same weight distribution in the boat. Example:
I take off from the dock with 2 people aboard and hit 5800 rpm's at 44 MPH with out a hitch. Then a little later after fishing and trolling for a couple of hours I take off and can't get more than 5100 rpm's at 39mph ???
Could this be an intermittent gas pump problem, or fuel line problem causing this. Any ideas?
