i have a 03 four stroke 9.9 merc manual start ....
the problem is when i start it i pull the choke and pull a few times and it fires but i have to keep pumping the bulb on the motor (not on gas line) to keep it running until it warms up and then it dosnt run that great some days better than others ....seems to want to die when i put it in forward and run it at low speed ...even at slowest speed i think it should be going slower
also put in new plug and yes i gaped it
