Merc 800 Firing

Hi,<br /><br />I have a merc 800 blueband 80hp with thunderbolt ignition. I was using yesterday going about 40 knots with out any probs, i slowed down it stalled started it again and it sounds as if i may only be fireing on 2 cylinders it manged to get me back to shore. anyone have any ideas about this

Uhm?<br /><br />You need to check if you have ignition on all cylinders.<br /><br />Remove the plugs, notice the order, and watch them closely. They'll tell a lot and if one is different you'll know that the corresponding cylinder is having problems.<br /><br />BTW: A manual would lead you through a troubleshooting routine, step-by-step.<br /><br />Manual? here..

will try that, already got that manual but the trouble shooting in it i did not find that good
